
Emily Selden has the education and experience to provide an invaluable service to families
going through the college search and application process.
Emily’s extensive college search took her to prestigious Wellesley College (Wellesley, MA) where she graduated with honors. After spending five years working in enrollment management for a non-profit educational organization in Washington, DC, Emily moved to Chicago. She spent the next four years as assistant director of admission at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, while earning her Masters of Science in Education (MSEd) in Higher Education and Policy from Northwestern’s School of Education and Social Policy (Evanston, IL). Her masters research focused on the sustainability of women’s colleges.
After completing her graduate work, Emily took the position of associate director of admission at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN). Emily spent three years working with high school students and their families throughout the application and financial aid process.
Emily is a member of the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling. Emily has completed College Counseling 101 at The Academy for College Admission Counseling.
